Show classes will run in the more usual order of dark through light in both Huacaya and Suri, with all championships offering broad ribbons and a high quality trophy as a permanent reminder of exhibitor’s success. The usual progeny classes will be offered along with Junior handler in both age groups. We are confident the quality of awards will be second to none across all categories and will set new standards for the industry.

Steve and his wife Sue have been breeding Huacaya Alpaca since 1998 establishing Wildflower Alpacas in the rich farming areas of Western Victoria famous for its fine Merino Wool. Steve has been an accredited Australian Alpaca judge since 2005, at the highest level in Australia since 2011. He has judged throughout Australia , New Zealand, Europe and conducted many seminars across the world assisting new breeders and associations establish their industries.
Steve and Sue were the founders of LaViande – the first company in Australia to farm and process alpaca for meat commercially. LaViande was established as Branding for Alpaca Meat in Australia in 2006. Steve until recently sat as the Chair of the Australian Alpaca Association Export and Trade Development Group.
